Step inside a 14-carat rose gold flute crafted by the renowned Louisiana flute maker, Lillian Burkart. Hailed as “the first lady of flute making,” Burkart is celebrated as one of the most gifted piccolo and flute artisans of all time. Her exceptional instruments are played by soloists and feature in the world’s finest symphony orchestras.

This particular flute reveals the story of its extensive use. Scratch marks, left by repeated cleanings, tell a tale normally hidden from view. Though these marks appear deep under extreme magnification, they are almost invisible to the naked eye.
